The first ever DUPR — Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating Top Players Lists represent the most accurate professional ratings ever released in the history of Pickleball. The lists take into account results from the last 32 tournaments and 18 months and includes all PPA, APP and major events. Developed by a renowned Applied Sports Algorithms Expert, the DUPR rating is truly universal — both ageless and genderless — and focuses on margin of victory (number of points won), not just whether a player won or lost.
The rating will continue to update, adapt and improve as more results enter the system: a dynamic rating for an evolving sport. As the official partner of the PPA Tour, all players will receive updated ratings from their results in PPA events. Amateur ratings will also be calculated and used for bracket entry and seeding in future PPA events — creating a more fun, fair & enjoyable experience for all.
